At PKHC, our pediatric private duty nurses can provide skilled care to include: management and administration of enteral feedings (Gastrostomy Tube, Nasogastric Tubes, Gastro-Jejunum Tube) and parenteral nutrition (TPN/Lipid administration via IV, PICC, CVC), Ostomy management (Colostomy, Ileostomy), Diabetes management and education. These devices allow the patient to safely consume medication, liquids, formulas, and food. In many cases, when a child is discharged from a hospital, his/her doctor may order Gastrostomy feedings, and that’s where we come in.
Our expert PDNs can provide 24-hour medical care to conduct routine gastronomy feedings. If your child’s doctor has requested these feedings to be done from home, then rest assured that all necessary machinery and/or supplies will be utilized to make treatment as comfortable as possible.
